ManCave Modeler presents...
Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E
Sd.Kfz.181
(Early Production)

Deployed beginning in 1942 the legendary Tiger Tank struck fear into those who fought against it.

The Tiger I was the first vehicle that mounted the 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun. While considered an outstanding design, it was over-engineered using expensive materials and labor-intensive production methods. Limited by it's short range and high fuel consumption, the Tiger was also prone to track failures, often involving mud, ice and snow or some other debris in it's overlapping, interleaved road wheels.
