The Kit
This aircraft is part of the 70th Anniversary Normandy kit
The kit contains two aircraft, this one and a P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt packed in separate bags
Construction is pretty simple with relatively few parts
It has pretty good cockpit detail for it's scale and can built with gear up or down.
A great little kit for a rainy weekend at home

It bears the markings of Josef "Pips" Priller's Black 13, wing commander of JG26 as flown on D-Day.
Priller and his wingman were two of the few Luftwaffe pilots to attack the Normandy beaches on the 6th of June 1944. Priller flew 307 combat missions to claim 101 victories
